Sarah Ferguson opened up on embracing her rebel status inside The Firm as she appeared n Thursday's Good Morning Britain. During co-anchor Kate Garraway's introductory piece, the 63 year old was heralded as something of a rule-breaker, after marrying and subsequently divorcing Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. Heard chuckling off-camera, Fergie then went on to share: "I think now that at 63 years old I've suddenly owned that it's not a bad thing to speak your mind and be who you want to be.
"It took me a long time to sort of... in the old days I would've gone, 'Oh shush no I'm not a rebel! I'm really good, I'm really OK, everything's fine...' And now I'm loving it," she insisted. Sarah then described herself as "mischievous" and "cheeky".
Fergie found fame when she joined the Royal family back in 1986 and had a tumultuous time in the spotlight as she split from Andrew after they welcomed two children, Beatrice and Eugenie. Sarah, who recently branched out into being an author, recently caught up with OK! to mark the approach of King Charles's coronation. "There is no question about it, it is a really exciting new chapter and a new way ahead," she told us.
"I can think of no better person for the job. I think it's going to be a wonderful moment to unite the nation as we will all be out there celebrating. I just admire him and everything he does so much." While Fergie may not be part of the ceremonial congregation, due to her separation from Prince Andrew, 63, she promised that she'll still be tuning in for the televised event.
