Sara Bareilles' 'Little Voice' TV Series Sets Premiere Date on Apple TV+

NEW YORK -- After watching the ghastly video of George Floyd dying as a police officer pressed a knee on his neck, Grammy-nominated R&B singer Trey Songz couldn’t sleep. He felt a pain in his gut so heavy it brought him down to his home studio, where he began recording a new song.

As protests around the country surrounding George Floyd's death in police custody continue, protestors are calling on organizations and companies to support the demonstrations in any way they can.

As nationwide protests spurred by the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer continue, entertainment companies like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO are weighing in to voice their support for the Black Lives Matter movement. Kicked off on Saturday, May 30 — as protests were taking place across cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami — with a social media post from Netflix, other streaming services and cable networks quickly followed suit with their own statements.

Both Beyoncé and Rihanna have issued statements following the shocking death of George Floyd. The black man, who was killed after a white Minneapolis police officer, knelt on his neck for over 8 minutes while three others stood-by, and a group of bystanders screamed them to stop.

Apple TV+ has given us our very first look at their upcoming series Little Voice. The series is a love letter to the diverse musicality of New York, a coming-of-age drama series featuring original music from Sara Bareilles.

After a strong Season 2 that highlighted a lot of structural flaws within the healthcare system, New Amsterdam had to adjust one of its biggest storylines and sign off early because of the coronavirus pandemic. Consequently, we didn't get to see everything the show had planned, including a pandemic-themed episode set in New York that was shelved after people in the show's cast and crew — including recurring guest star Daniel Dae Kim -- contracted the virus.

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez each shared a message about taking time to appreciate loved ones amid the coronavirus pandemic on Sunday. The celebrity power couple, like the rest of the country, is currently spending more time at home with their kids as social distancing guidelines force people to stay off the streets as best they can.

It looks like Tekashi 6ix9ine’s baby mama Sara is not here for people trying to call her out after it was revealed that she appeared in another rapper’s music video.

Despite their bickering and apparent sibling rivalry, it's clear Chris Cuomo and his older brother Andrew Cuomo genuinely care for one another, even if they only show it begrudgingly.
