The 28-year-old Little Women star would have reunited with her Mary Queen of Scots co-star Margot Robbie, who is bringing the iconic doll to life. It also would have marked another collaboration between Saoirse and director Greta Gerwig. They previously worked together on Little Women and Lady Bird.
