Partygoers at a 'rave bingo' night in Glasgow were staggered to see Hollywood royalty Samuel L Jackson join in the fun and games.
The 74-year-old Pulp Fiction legend stopped by SWG3 to check out Bongo's Bingo on Saturday – an event that describes itself as "a crazy mix of traditional bingo, dance-offs, rave intervals, audience participation and countless magical moments." Video posted on social media shows the acclaimed actor laughing as he films a drag queen's strip tease.
He later posed for photos with Bongo's performers and staff after being invited backstage. Bongo's founder Jonny Lacey captioned the video: "Good to have @samuelljackson fly over for the @bongosbingo Glasgow show."
Fans took to social media to share their disbelief at the megastar's attendance. One wrote: "If it wasn’t filmed you wouldn’t believe it."
Another said: "Samuel l Jackson at Bongo's Bingo in Scotland. What even?"
A third Bongo's-goer added: "Seen the glasses and hat and was like is that who I think it is? Madness."
While another attendee joked on Twitter: "Yo @SamuelLJackson saw you in Bongo’s Bingo mate. Come down tae the drum in Shettleston. It’s karaoke night and it’s £3 a pint. First round on me."
