The stars of Coronation Street have been seen filming while adhering to social distancing rules in new photographs.The hit ITV soap was forced to halt production for 11 weeks due to the coronavirus crisis continuing to sweep the globe. But the show's actors have now returned to set in Manchester for the first time in almost three months as filming recommences.

The soap will complete unfinished episodes shot before the pandemic while adhering to strict guidelines, so viewers may notice storylines featuring social distancing where it wasn't included previously.

Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has been a long-standing cast member of the popular ITV soap, playing the part of Sally Metcalfe, for just shy of 35 years. And, as a result of the many years the successful actress has under her belt, the 57 year old has learnt lines for many a turbulent storyline, including one centring around abuse in relationships.

Sally Dynevor expects Brooke Vincent and Helen Flanagan to return to 'Coronation Street' if her character re-marries Tim Metcalfe. The 57-year-old star is confident her on-screen daughters Brooke (Sophie Webster) and Helen (Rosie Webster) would head back to the cobbles if Sally Metcalfe does finally wed Tim again, after their 2015 nuptials were invalid because he discovered he was a bigamist following a 2004 Las Vegas marriage.
