SAG Predictions: Best Supporting Actor – Can Mark Rylance Join Sacha Baron Cohen for ‘Chicago 7’?

EXCLUSIVE: In a hot under-the-radar package, we can reveal that Oscar-winner Mark Rylance (The Trial Of The Chicago 7), Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien, Set It Up star Zoey Deutch and The Dig actor Johnny Flynn are set to star in Oscar-winning writer Graham Moore’s (The Imitation Game) directorial debut The Outfit.

Aaron Sorkin’s award-nominated drama “The Trial Of The Chicago 7” will be free to stream on YouTube for two days.

Curtiss Cook, who has recurred as Douda on Showtime’s The Chi, has been promoted to series regular for Season 4. Additionally, Tabitha Brown (Princess of the Row) and Jason Weaver (Smart Guy, ATL) are set for recurring roles on the Lena Waithe-created drama series. The Chi is currently in production in Chicago and will return to the network later this year.

Among the most notable omissions in this category was Nomadland, seen as a major Best Picture contender, as well as Mank, which led Wednesday's Golden Globe nominations.

Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and Minari topped the nominations for the 2021 SAG Awards with three nods each. While Trial of the Chicago 7 and Da 5 Bloods, in a comeback after being surprisingly shut out by the Golden Globes, earned three nods a piece from SAG-AFTRA as well, one of those nominations was in the stunt performers category.
