Rylan Clark was left moved by a heartfelt shout-out from Ruth Langsford on Instagram amidst her own split from Eamonn Holmes, with fans rallying around her in support.
The Loose Women star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a snippet of her cosy evening in, filming her TV while tuned into Rylan and Robert Rinder's Grand Tour on BBC Two.
Ruth penned a supportive note for her "TV son" in her caption: "just catching up with my TV son @rylan and @robrinder Grand Tour....LOVE this show! Educational, funny, poignant....such a beautiful friendship. Please have a watch if you haven't already."
The 64-year-old's post quickly garnered attention from her million-strong following, with fans flooding the comments section with supportive messages, especially poignant as it came just days after she announced that she and Eamonn Holmes were parting ways after 14 years together.
One fan wrote,
"Loved it Ruth x hope your mum is well love seeing her singing with a Sherry x look after yourself".
Another chimed in with: "sending you love. Didn't see your split coming but like we say you never know what's going on behind closed doors as long as you're both ok tv legends."
