Eamonn Holmes has shared a picture of his rarely-seen daughter Rebecca, 32, saying despite a lack of girls in the family he had "one who I love and adore".
The 64-year-old TV star, who recently announced his split from wife Ruth Langsford, posed alongside her in matching sunglasses as they perched on the back of a car. He wrote on Instagram: "Lots of folk posting about their daughters.
Not many girls in The Holmes family but I have one who I love and adore." The emotional tribute was praised by fans, who branded Rebecca - the middle child and only daughter from his first marriage to Gabrielle - "beautiful" and "stunning". One wrote: "What a beautiful daughter you have and a gorgeous photo of the two of you and you also have i think 3 handsome sons just like you Eamonn and don’t forgot your gorgeous grandchildren keep positive Eamonn and take care." He star replied with three clasped-hands emojis.
Eamonn has children Declan, 34, Rebecca, 32, and Niall, 30 from his first marriage and son Jack from his marriage to Ruth. He has not spoken about his split from Ruth, with whom he fronted This Morning on Fridays for more than a decade, save for a brief moment on his GB News show where he thanked viewers for their messages.
He said: "Just before we move on I'd like to thank people for their support for Ruth and I over the last few days as to the news of our separation. Your support for both of us is very much appreciated." It has been reported that Eamonn has moved out of the family home following the split and an insider has insisted there is "no chance" of a reconciliation for the famous couple.
