There is a risk of possible flooding across Greater Manchester as some areas have seen over 30mm of rainfall in just 24 hours.
The Met Office has warned that there is a 'small chance' of homes and businesses becoming flooded or damaged with a yellow weather alert in place until 9pm on Monday (August 14).
The alert says that some areas could also become 'temporarily cut off by flooded roads' and that heavy rainfall could lead to 'some difficult driving conditions and road closures' or possible delays on the rail network.

Forecasters predicted 'persistent, heavy rain' would fall throughout Monday, covering most of the Greater Manchester region, lasting until 9pm.
And official data from the Environment Agency has now revealed which parts of the region have seen the most recorded rainfall in the last 24 hours.
A rain gauge in Egerton, Bolton recorded the most across the region with 32.6mm in 24 hours. In Sweetloves, also Bolton, there was 29.2mm of rain and in Ringley Fold, there was 23.2mm.
Other areas that faced prolonged and heavy rainfall included Heaton Park with 23mm and Worthington in Wigan, with 21.9mm.
Although there are no official flood alerts in place for Greater Manchester, the Met Office warned 'heavy and persistent' rain could still bring disruption across Greater Manchester until 9pm.
There are no weather warnings in place for the remainder of the week, with dry, sunny and warm conditions expected and temperatures in the 20s.
