Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to snub Rasmus Hojlund and spent their entire transfer budget on Victor Osimhen if they can't sign Harry Kane.
United are tracking all three of the aforementioned forwards this summer but Erik ten Hag would need to spend a huge portion of his budget to bring any of them to Old Trafford. Atalanta reportedly want in excess of €80million Hojlund, who scored nine goals in Serie A last season.
Equally, Napoli have been stubborn with their valuation of Osimhen. The Nigerian striker is said to be valued at over £100m after netting 26 goals in the league last season.

With Tottenham Hotspur unwilling to part with Kane, Ferdinand believes United should go all in for Osimhen. He doesn't believe the club should gamble on 20-year-old Hojlund because he is not 'ready-made' to lead the line for United.

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has called for the Premier League to ban transfers to Saudi Arabia to 'ensure the integrity of the game'.
Neville was speaking after a flurry of transfer activity in the Middle East country saw big names like Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante complete moves to the Saudi Pro League. In June, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), which owns Newcastle United, declared they were buying four clubs in the country including Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr.
Chelsea's Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech have all been linked with moves to different teams in the league which has led to further controversy given it is unclear whether PIF holds a stake in Chelsea's ultimate owners Clearlake Capital.
