Rico Lewis has taken inspiration from Manchester City - and now England - teammate Kyle Walker as he continued to develop into one of the country's most exciting prospects.
Lewis earned his first call-up to the England senior team over the weekend, having been named as a late replacement by Gareth Southgate. A number of regular squad members have picked up recent injuries, allowing the City defender and former teammate Cole Palmer to join up for the first time.
Despite making only 35 first-team appearances for City, the 18-year-old is quickly asserting himself among the world's best young talents and has a wealth of experience to lean on at club level. The coaches are always there to support the teenager but Walker, 15 years his senior, is always on hand.

“I would probably say the coaches I’ve had all the way through City," Lewis told BBC Radio 5Live of his biggest footballing influences. "Most of the values that the first team have had since Pep joined have been throughout the whole academy.
“So all the coaches have had a massive impact on forming who I am today and the kind of player I am. I’d say more recently, in the first team, Kyle (Walker) and obviously, the manager (Guardiola), especially, have been so helpful in building up confidence and also given me the tools and the kind of information I needed to be better.
“I’d say off the pitch, I’m closer with Phil (Foden) and the younger players and stuff like that, but definitely on the pitch and giving me the important information before a game – definitely, Kyle.”
