It's been 22 years since Frankie Bridge rose to fame, initially as part of S Club Juniors and then as 1/5 of girl band The Saturdays, and the star is ready to jump back into the music scene, sources have confirmed. From marrying footballer Wayne Bridge to appearing on I'm A Celebrity and joining the panel of Loose Women, the former singer, 34, hasn't been short of things to do since the band split in 2014. But explaining Frankie's 'restless nature, a source revealed: “She wants to do something big.
She can’t sit still, and if she’s not working she doesn't feel she’s achieving." Frankie and her husband Wayne share two children; Parker, nine, and Carter, seven - with our source sharing that the sportsman is encouraging his wife to enjoy the family time while it lasts. “Wayne says ‘be happy, the kids will grow up so quickly and before you know it they’ll be grown up and leaving the house’, but she’s not content with that. “She wants to have a single career, and she loves doing Loose Women and her fashion lines.
But she’s seen what other Saturday girls have done and she really wants to make a single and make a hit of it. “She’s just never content. She always wants to do the next thing and thinks the grass is always greener," continued the source.
OK! has contacted representatives of Frankie for comment. Frankie's former bandmates have all gone onto their own successes too, with Rochelle Humes also making a move to TV as she often fronts This Morning as a guest presenter. Molly King is a popular voice amongst radio listeners for her Future Pop show on BBC Radio 1 while Una Healy and Vanessa White have gone on to their own solo careers.
