A resident in Irlam was forced to call the police after waking to find a car blocking their driveway.
Police said the Nissan car was parked on the street in the early hours of the morning. The resident noticed the car was blocking their driveway, leaving them unable to get their own car out.
They tried posting on social media to see if the car belonged to anyone but were left with no choice but to call police. Officers said the owner of the Nissan 'did not return'.

The vehicle was towed away from the scene. A traffic offence report was issued.
Sharing pictures of the car on X, formerly Twitter, this morning, an officer at GMP Traffic wrote: "#TrafficPCSOs attended a reported obstruction in Irlam. The Nissan arrived in the early hours and was left across the driveway.
"Owner could not get their vehicle out, tried local social media before contacting us. Driver did not return.
"TOR issued. Vehicle removed."
