‘Red Notice’: Original Cast Returning For Two Sequels Shooting Back-To-Back

In the wake of the juggernaut success of “Game of Thrones,” the public’s hunger for fantasy on the small screen seemingly hasn’t been bigger, Netflix has put a lot of energy into fleshing out the “The Witcher” universe and we’ve seen Amazon pour a mountain’s worth of cash into their “Lord of The Rings” prequel series alongside a show based on Robert Jordan‘s beloved “Wheel of Time” novels.

Ryan Reynolds has another movie heading to Netflix and the streamer has shared the first photos from the upcoming film!

Selome Hailu Rawson Marshall Thurber will creatively oversee Entertainment One’s upcoming live-action “Dungeons & Dragons” series, a rep for eOne confirmed to Variety. Thurber will write and direct the pilot script and executive produce the series, which is based on the popular fantasy role-playing game franchise published by Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro.The hourlong series will be one of the one of the first projects set in the “Dungeons & Dragons” TV universe that has been in planning stages at eOne since the indie studio was acquired by Hasbro in 2020.

The indie studio has closed a deal with Red Notice filmmaker Rawson Marshall Thurber to creatively oversee a flagship live-action television series based on Hasbro’s wildly-popular fantasy role-playing game franchise from Wizards of the Coast. Thurber will write and direct the pilot script as well as executive produce the hourlong project, which has been garnering interest from multiple buyers.

The film, which aims to shoot this year, is described as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.”Evans will next be seen starring in the Russo brothers’ Netflix spy film “The Gray Man” and will voice Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s “Lightyear.” Evans is in development on a biopic about Gene Kelly, in which he’ll star and produce, and he will next star in the Apple’s “Ghosted.” “Red One” will be directed by Jake Kasdan (who previously teamed with Johnson and Seven Bucks on the blockbuster “Jumanji” franchise) and written by Chris Morgan (who collaborated on “Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw,” “The Fate of the Furious,” “Furious 7,” “Fast & Furious 6” and “Fast Five”).Johnson will also produce the movie, alongside Hiram and Dany Garcia on behalf of Seven Bucks Productions.
