Rebekah Vardy has filed documents to the High Court saying the abuse she suffered following Coleen Rooney’s allegation against her left her feeling suicidal.
Ms Rooney (34), wife of former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney, made news around the world when she claimed that Ms Vardy’s Instagram account was the source of leaked stories about her private life.
Ms Vardy (38), wife of Leicester City player Jamie Vardy, denied any wrongdoing and has launched libel proceedings against Ms Rooney.
