Rebekah Vardy has said she is "not at all worried" about having to pay legal fees, as she laughed off claims she will have to sell her holiday home in Portugal. The WAG, 40, is set to pick up the brunt of the reported £3 million legal costs after she lost her High Court Wagatha Christie libel case against Coleen Rooney last week. Rebekah and her husband Jamie own a luxury villa on an exclusive golf resort, which they have previously referred to as their "sanctuary".
The property — which has three pools, a gym, steam room and six bedrooms — is thought to be worth in the region of £2 million, with rumours recently circulating that the couple will be forced to sell up to help pay for the hefty court case costs. Speaking to Talk TV journalist Kate McCann on Wednesday, Rebekah firmly shut down rumours they would have to sell up. She said: "The legal fees will be dealt with privately, the way they should be.
There shouldn't be any gloating about anything to do with finances. "She added: "There's been quite a bit of speculation about other homes abroad and that's categorically not true. "Rebekah also said she chooses not to read stories about herself in the press, adding: "When I do, or if it's pointed out to me, I learn something new everyday about myself, or that we're meant to be doing.
" The long-running saga between the two WAGs came about after Coleen, 36, famously accused Rebekah's Instagram account of leaking stories about her private life to the press in October 2019. In a now famous social media post, super sleuth Coleen publicly claimed Vardy’s account was the source behind three fake stories in The Sun newspaper which she had posted on her private Instagram stories.
