Prince George's reported move to a school outside of London is "a natural move from two very caring parents," a royal expert has said. Prince William, 39, and Kate Middleton, 40, are reported to be moving their eight year old son from his current London St.Thomas's Battersea and eye up new options in Berkshire, close to Kate's parents Michael and Carole Middleton.
But royal expert Duncan Larcombe notes that Prince George leaving the school that his younger sister Princess Charlotte, six, attends is nothing new for the Royal family. Duncan has explained to OK! online that schooling members of the Royal family separately is the norm and that Prince William and Prince Harry broke the tradition when they both attended Wetherby Preparatory School and Eton College.

"And, of course, William and Harry wouldn't have gone to the same school if one of them was a girl.
"Kate had a traditional co-ed education but it seems to be almost par for the course with the royals that they don't pile all of their children into the same school." He continued: "You want your children to have different experiences as they grow up because, collectively, as the Royals, they will experience different types of people. "It's as much about the people they meet growing up who will be their friends for life.
