Ranvir Singh has shut down critics of her 18-year age gap with boyfriend Lewis Church as she gushes over new relationship.
The Good Morning Britain star met Lewis, 27, while she competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2020 as he worked as a member of the production team. Opening up about their two year relationship, Ranvir, 45, revealed that age is just a number as she shared "age is no guarantee of someone being wonderful to you".
The broadcaster host is famously private about her love life, and hasn't discussed their relationship before other than to confirm that they are dating. However, in an interview with The Sun 's Fabulous Magazine, Ranvir said: "We don’t ever joke about the age difference.
"Actually, age is no guarantee of someone being wonderful to you. There are complete gits who are exactly the same age as you. Age can define life experience, but that is only valuable if you’ve learned from it – it doesn’t always mean you’ve got your life figured out.
"You can find a 50-year-old man who will have no idea about how to be a good partner. So being 27 is not reflective of that.
"When I was 27, I was probably a lot more immature than Louis is. There are things that he is better at than I am in terms of just being a good human being. And I’m learning from him. So to me, it’s a complete joy."
Ranvir was previously married for eight years to to Ranjeet Singh Dehal, with the pair announcing their split in autumn 2020 before Ranvir appeared on Strictly. The pair share 10-year-old son Tushaan.
