Rangers will be without both John Lundstram and Kemar Roofe for Sunday's clash with Motherwell as Philippe Clement admits he remains in the dark over when they will return.
The Belgian boss has been without several key stars in recent weeks including Danilo, Roofe, Nicolas Raskin, Ryan Jack, Steven Davis and Tom Lawrence. Their injury woes increased when midfielder Lundstram was "kicked off the pitch" against St Johnstone on Wednesday following a rash challenge from Diallang Jaiyesimi.
Despite dealing with a depleted squad, Clement's side have racked up an impressive 16-game unbeaten run in all competitions and clinched the Viaplay Cup versus Aberdeen last weekend. Rangers are now only two points behind Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic, with a crucial game in hand over their city rivals still to come next month, but Clement knows it's not ideal having less options to pick a team from. Speaking ahead the upcoming game at Fir Park, he said: "Lundstram and Roofe are both not available for Sunday. To say how long is difficult for the moment, still waiting on results of scans.
"There are not a lot of options, we have to look at what is best for the team. Players playing out of position and giving everything.
