Dramatic pictures have shown the moment a Range Rover appeared to land sideways after hitting other cars in a crash in Tyldesley on Monday night (November 6).
Fire crews blocked off Hen Fold Road, beside the junction with Bodmin Road, after the collision involving three vehicles, shortly before 6pm.
Pictures from the scene show personnel from the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service using specialist equipment to stabilise the 4x4, which appeared to have landed sideways on another vehicle.

It is unclear if any arrests were made in connection with the crash. Greater Manchester Police did not provide further details on the incident.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At shortly before 6pm this evening (Monday, 6 November), two fire engines from Atherton and Farnworth fire stations and the Technical Response Unit from Leigh were called to attend a road traffic collision involving three cars on Hen Fold Road, Tyldesley.
“Crews arrived quickly and used one hose reel and specialist stabilising equipment to make the area safe. Firefighters worked alongside North West Ambulance Service and Greater Manchester Police to assess all casualties before departing after approximately 30 minutes at the scene.”
