Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reportedly been in contact with Raheem Sterling regarding his future plans.
The Manchester City winger has been tipped for a move away this summer with hopes of earning regular starts elsewhere. The England international has seen the number of club appearances he's made decrease over the past three seasons and he started just 23 Premier League games last term.
As a result, he has been touted with an Etihad exit with 12 months left on his contract. AC Milan and Arsenal have been linked with Sterling, but Chelsea have seemingly become frontrunners in recent weeks.

And now, The Telegraph claim Tuchel has contacted the player to enquire about his plans going forward. Despite having only a year left on his deal, City could reportedly bring in up to £50m for Sterling.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail say City are due to sign free agent Stefan Ortega next week. The Manchester Evening News previously reported that the club were working to sign the goalkeeper, and now his arrival date looks to be near.
The Mail say he is expected to sign on a three-year deal to replace Zack Steffen as the club's back-up to Ederson. Steffen could, in turn, leave City to ensure his place in the USA's World Cup squad is secure.
