Gabriel Jesus was greeted at a London hospital by Arsenal sporting director Edu this morning ahead of the player's move from Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta has landed the Brazilian striker to add to his squad for next season after the clubs agreed a £45m fee last week. Jesus had 12 months remaining on his contract at the Etihad and will leave after an eventful and trophy-filled five-and-a-half years in an attempt to earn more regular football and cement his place at the World Cup at the end of this year.
After taking some time to relax after the end of the campaign and the latest international window, Jesus has landed in London to complete the final bits of his transfer. As he emerged from a car on Tuesday morning, the Sun snapped the forward being met by Edu.

Jesus isn't likely to be the only City forward leaving this summer for another Premier League club; Chelsea are in negotiations to sign Raheem Sterling in a double exit that will largely be compensated by the arrivals of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.
City's willingness to sell players to rivals is in part because of the reality of the financial market but also reflects their confidence in their transfer strategy as they seek to win a third Premier League title in a row and a fifth in six years under Pep Guardiola. A deal for Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips will be announced soon after a £45m fee was agreed between the clubs.
