Rachel Zegler ‘invited to present at Oscars’ following fan outcry

Tom Parker was remembered in The Grammys In Memoriam segment. The Wanted singer tragically passed away at the age of 33 after a battle with a brain tumour, and he was one of the stars remembered in a segment during the annual music awards ceremony in Las Vegas tonight.

The Recording Academy is handing out its 64th annual Grammy Awards today and tonight in Las Vegas, starting with the Premiere Ceremony preshow at 12:30 p.m. PT. The televised portion starts at 5 p.m. PT.

The Oscars has people talking in a way the ceremony has not been able to in years. Unfortunately, it is not so much about the moving acceptance speeches or elaborate production numbers but an ugly incident, in which Oscar nominee (and eventual winner) Will Smith slapped presented Chris Rock after the latter had directed a not very tasteful joke at Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
