Buckingham Palace has announced that Queen Elizabeth II will not be attending this weekend's Easter Sunday Service at St. Georgie's Chapel in Windsor. Sharing a snippet of a statement issued by the Queen's representatives, royal journalist Victoria Murphy tweeted: "Buckingham Palace announces that members of the royal family will attend the Easter Sunday service in Windsor.The Queen will not be attending." The news comes after the 95 year old monarch was announced to also not be attending today's Maundy Service.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly planning on moving to Windsor this summer to be closer to the Queen.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are even said to have taken steps to look at schools in the area for their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte. While their youngest son Prince Louis, three, is yet to start school. Kate, 40, and husband William, 39, are said to be looking at schools in Buckinghamshire, Windsor and Surrey – having said to have looked at Lambrook School in Ascot.

The Queen has reportedly splashed out £62,000 on a golf buggy to help her get around Windsor Castle. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 95, who will "never panic or collapse", according to an expert, is said to have taken delivery of the luxury buggy two weeks ago and has already had a go at driving around in it.The buggy is said to be a four-seater called the "Queen Mobile" and comes with all-weather covers as well as a fridge and an infotainment screen.

The Queen has made an official appearance using a walking stick amid reports that she has been using a wheelchair.

Kate Middleton is clearly channeling her inner future queen in Jamaica! The 40-year-old Duchess of Cambridge continued to impress with her fashion while on a royal tour of the Caribbean with her husband, Prince William, on Wednesday. At a dinner hosted by the Governor General of Jamaica Patrick Allen in King's House, Kate wore a sparkling, off-the-shoulder kelly green Jenny Packham gown and emerald jewelry loaned to her from Queen Elizabeth II herself. Pinned to her dress were the Royal Family Order and the GCVO Star. William went for a traditional look in a black tuxedo. Amid ongoing protests surrounding the royals' visit and outspoken coalitions seeking to make Jamaica a republic and to remove the queen as the head of state, William gave a speech at the dinner, condemning Britain's role in slavery in Jamaica. «I strongly agree with my father, The Prince of Wales, who said in Barbados last year that the appalling atrocity of slavery forever stains our history,» William said of his father, Prince Charles.

Activists in Jamaica have a message for the Royal Family.

Amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine, it is reported that the Queen's private estate is looking to provide homes and jobs to Ukrainian refugees.The move comes after a rural estate in Scotland offered accommodation and employment to those fleeing Ukraine, with Prince Charles also thinking of helping at his Dumfries House estate in Ayrshire. Scottish Land & Estates (SLE) has said that over 40 estates have volunteered to help those fleeing the horrors of war and coming to Scotland.

Queen Elizabeth II, is intended to strengthen the U.K.’s ties with Commonwealth countries as the queen marks 70 years on the throne.But the trip suffered a hitch before the couple set out, when a planned visit to a cacao farm in the Central American nation of Belize was scrapped because of local opposition.According to local reports, a protest was staged on Friday opposing the royal visit to Akte ’il Ha cacao farm in Indian Creek village in the foothills of the Maya Mountains. Belize news outlet Channel 7 reported that there is a dispute between village residents and Flora and Fauna International, a conservation charity William supports as patron.The royal couple’s Kensington Palace office said that “due to sensitive issues involving the community in Indian Creek, the visit has been moved to a different location.” The government of Belize said “another venue has been selected to showcase Maya family entrepreneurship in the cacao industry.”The couple, formally known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, also are due to visit Jamaica, where they are due to celebrate the legacy of Bob Marley and island’s rich musical and sporting heritage.

According to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, the monarch left Buckingham Palace as it was ‘less and less home from home’ without her beloved husband, the late Prince Philip.
