pub has been named as one of the best pubs in the UK. The Cartvale in Busby, just outside Glasgow limits, made the cut as a finalist in the Great British Pub Awards, often dubbed 'the Oscars of the pub industry'. The village boozer was shortlisted for 'Star Pubs & Bars Pub of the Year'.
It's the only Scottish watering hole to have made the cut for that category. Just three other Scottish pubs have received nominations. Edinburgh's Regent Bar is a finalist for 'Punch Pubs & Co.
