Prince Harry and Prince William have come together several times in the wake of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II's, death to honor the late monarch in a series of public and private ceremonies. The state funeral procession for Her Majesty on Monday called upon the memory of another significant royal's death — the siblings' mother, the late Princess Diana. ET spoke with royal biographer Andrew Morton at Methodist Central Hall Westminster in England on Monday and discussed Harry and William's notorious rift, and how he feels their mother would react. «Well, the one thing that she would be really furious about is that they had this split,» Morton began, explaining that he had previously discussed the boys' relationship with Diana herself. «She always said to me, not just once, but on several occasions, that Harry is William's backup in the nicest possible way, he's his wingman, he's the one who helps William in this difficult job that he will have in the future because it's a lonely job.

Queen Elizabeth II was known for her sprawling collection of remarkable jewels, which she often lent to members of the family for prominent occasions. As her family bid a final farewell to the 96-year-old monarch, the new Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, paid homage to her husband Prince William's grandmother by wearing a stunning pearl choker, centered with a diamond fastening.  Middleton most recently wore the necklace in 2017 to celebrate the Queen's 70th wedding anniversary to Prince Philip.

The Princess of Wales' used her appearance at the Queen's state funeral to pay a subtle tribute to her late grandmother-in-law. Catherine, who was given the title last held by her husband's mother Dianna following King Charles' succession to the throne, attended Queen Elizabeth II's funeral on Monday (September 19).

Pearls, too, were a significant choice: they are often considered the royal choice for ‘mourning jewelry’—in a tradition that dates back to Queen Victoria’s era.

As the British nation mourns the loss of Queen Elizabeth II and prepares for the transition to new leadership under King Charles III, family drama continues to plague the royal family.  Piers Morgan, host of "Piers Morgan Uncensored," joined "Fox & Friends" Friday to discuss the royal "rift" between the royal family and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.  Morgan specifically highlighted the tension between Prince Harry and Prince William.The two brothers have hardly interacted following Prince Harry stepping down as a senior member of the royal family.  "So there is a huge rift between these boys," Morgan said. Meghan Markle has certainly been wowing with her outfit choices while on tour of Europe, although she may have faced some criticism due to her wardrobe costs. The first stop on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s unofficial royal tour was the One Young World Summit in Manchester where the 41 year old looked regal in head-to-toe red . The couple arrived at the summit to cheers and applause from the 2,000-strong crowd.

This isn’t the first time Tina has weighed in on the relationship between the Sussexes and the wider royal family, with her comments surrounding 'Megxit' suggesting that the couple’s decision to emigrate to the US has left the rest of the family “still reeling” and “baffled”. Princess Diana was killed in a car crash on August 31, 1997 at the age of just 36, leaving behind her two sons Prince William, then aged 15, and Prince Harry, 12.

Sir Elton John has paid tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales, on the 25th anniversary of her death, saying: “You will always be missed.” The 75-year-old veteran musician, who was close friends with the princess, shared a photo on Instagram of them laughing together to commemorate the occasion.
