Royal insiders fear Meghan Markle is overshadowing anniversary of Princess Diana's death

Prince Harry, son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana, is married to Meghan Markle, a former American actress.The pair started dating in 2016 before marrying in 2019.The couple have made headlines for distancing themselves greatly from the royal family and in 2020, they stepped away from their senior royal duties. While the two don't have a traditional day-to-day life, they did meet in a pretty conventional way – getting set up by a mutual friend.

Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been thrown back into Royal life in London.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have remained in the UK after the Queen, Harry's grandmother, died on Thursday 8 September at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Meghan, 41, and Harry, 37, were already in the UK when Her Majesty was placed under medical supervision, as they'd flown over from the US to attend charity events in Manchester and London a few days prior.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined the royal family as Queen Elizabeth II's coffin was received at Buckingham Palace Tuesday after departing the RAF Northolt Airforce station in Ruislip, England.  Queen Elizabeth II died Thursday at the age of 96. She was the longest-reigning monarch in British history, and the second longest-reigning monarch in the history of the world.  The hearse arrived to cheers outside of Buckingham Palace as the streets of London were lined with mourners.

King Charles III sent social media into a frenzy on Friday when he mentioned Meghan Markle during his address to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The new king spoke about his mother’s legacy before touting members of the Royal Family, including his son Prince Harry and his American wife.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared a moving tribute in honour of the late Queen following her death, which was announced by Buckingham Palace on September 8.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in the UK away from their children Archie, three, and one year old daughter Lilibet – who is named after Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
