The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be considering plans to renovate and extend a redbrick annexe next to their Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor.The family - who moved to the Berkshire estate towards the end of summer in 2022 - currently split their time between the four bedroom cottage and their beloved Anmer Hall retreat on the Sandringham Estate. While Adelaide Cottage provides the perfect location thanks to its proximity to Lambrook School where Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are students, sources say the family are looking at plans to extend a currently empty annexe to aid in the princess' recovery.This decision, however, is said to not be without complications as the source explains that the Prince of Wales is "conscious of public scrutiny" about royal spending habits and is taking a measured approach about how to personally cover the costs.

The countdown to the release of Netflix's film Scoop is into its final days.
The programme - which chronicles what lead up to and subsequently followed Prince Andrew's infamous Newsnight interview - premieres on the streaming giant on Friday, 5 March. The Duke of York's sit-down talk with journalist Emily Maitlis made headlines for all the wrong reasons as he addressed his association with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The interview - which was later dubbed a 'car crash' - featured many memorable moments, including mentions of his inability to sweat, a trip to a Pizza Express in Woking and the Duke's tendency to be “too honourable”.
Ahead of the release, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond spoke to OK! about what we can expect from the film - as well as how members of the York family will be feeling. "[Andrew] ought to be thoroughly flattered that a showstopper like Rufus Sewell is playing him!" Jennie laughed.
"There’s no doubt that it’s going to mean more embarrassment for him.
The renewed publicity only shines a light again on all that has happened and that he would undoubtedly rather forget about." Jennie continued: "I don’t think he will take much solace from the fact that it has been given the Netflix treatment. It only means that the whole story episode will now be broadcast to a wider audience than ever before.
"It’s altogether very bad news for Andrew and, indeed, for his whole family. Beatrice, in particular, will undoubtedly be annoyed and upset that her part in setting up and monitoring the interview will now be made so much more public.
"And there has already been much emphasis on the fact that Andrew was delighted with the interview immediately after it was completed. How stupid does that make him look?
