Princess Anne and Prince Edward pay tribute to their father Prince Philip after his death at 99

Prince Harry is said to have been “barely acknowledged” by Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex during Prince Philip’s funeral.The Duke of Sussex, 36, was publicly reunited with the Royal Family for the first time after his explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey to lay his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, to rest at the weekend.

The Royal Family united to pay a fond and emotional farewell to Prince Philip, who was laid to rest at Windsor Castle's St George's Chapel on Saturday 17 April. Among the 30 guests in attendance was Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie Countess of Wessex.

Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 56, and her husband Prince Edward, 57, are back in the public eye after the the sad death of his father Prince Philip. The Royal Family members, who wed in 1999 and are reportedly very close with Queen Elizabeth II, released a statement in honor of the late Duke of Edinburgh.

Prince Philip will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on Saturday at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle after he passed away aged 99.The Duke of Edinburgh was born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on June 10 1921 to Princess Alice of Battenberg and Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark.The Queen’s late husband was the youngest of five and had four sisters named Princess Cecilie, Princess Margarita, Princess Sophie and Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are taking in all the touching tributes to Charles' late father, Prince Philip. On Thursday, the pair viewed the flowers, cards and gifts left outside of Marlborough House Gardens.

The BBC has reportedly received 100,000 complaints about its coverage of Prince Philip's death.The network altered its usual schedule on Friday 9 April to show tributes and special documentaries about the Duke of Edinburgh when the news of his death broke.The move meant programmes, including the MasterChef final, were pushed back, leaving many viewers disappointed.

After Prince Philip passed away on Friday, his grandson Prince William is finally opening up on the tragic demise. Today, he took to the Kensington Royal social media and wrote a heartfelt note honouring the late royal.

The Royal Family continues to mourn Prince Philip.

He continued, “I feel lucky to have not just had his example to guide me, but his enduring presence well into my own adult life – both through good times and the hardest days. I will always be grateful that my wife had so many years to get to know my grandfather and for the kindness he showed her.

Like the rest of the royal family, Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are absolutely devastated over the passing of his grandfather, Prince Philip. The Duke of Edinburgh died on April 9 after a lengthy hospital stay and heart surgery in London, and his eldest grandson paid tribute to him with a stunning statement.
