Royal fans saw a sweet father-son moment between Princes George and William as the doting dad showed his eight year old son how to wear cufflinks. Prince William, Kate Middleton and their two eldest children George and Charlotte, six, promptly arrived at this evening’s Party at the Palace located outside Buckingham Palace. The Cambridge’s youngest Prince Louis, four, wasn’t with the family for the affair, and was likely being looked after by their “loyal nanny” Maria or Kate’s mother, Carole.

As the family sat down in their front-row seats the camera panned across the many faces in the Royal box, and showed William chatting to his eldest son and demonstrating how to wear the smart attire staple. While William chatted to George, before the family sat down, Zara Tindall was seen helping young Charlotte settle in her seat as it was full of items. Ensuring Charlotte could sit down comfortably, Zara – who’s married to Rugby star Mike Tindall – moved the things out the way so that the princess could take her seat.

A stunning new portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William has been released – the first of its kind.The painting was commissioned by the Cambridgeshire Royal Portrait Fund, held by the Cambridge Community Foundation last year, and was created by award-winning British portrait artist Jamie Coreth. It has been created as a gift to Cambridgeshire, sparking Jamie to incorporate the City of Cambridge into the portrait by painting the background with the tones and colours of many of the historical stone buildings that are synonymous with the city.The painting shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge standing side-by-side as Kate wears a stunning emerald green dress – a colour the 40 year old royal has been seen wearing on several occasions.
