Prince William carries out important final duty ahead of Trooping the Colour parade

Prince William and Kate Middleton are saying goodbye to their home at Kensington Palace!According to the the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with their three children, Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, will move to a new residence 30 miles away in the county of Berkshire -- home of Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth II resides.  The Cambridges' new home is speculated to be Adelaide Cottage, however, neither Kensington Palace nor the royal family has yet to confirm that information.

A piece of the family. Prince Charles’ birthday present for Lilibet was extra special. During the Platinum Jubilee celebration, Lilibet celebrated her birthday on June 4, 2022, with her close family sans Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton. However, her grandfather still wanted to give her something to remind her of her Royal roots.

This Morning's royal correspondent Camilla Tominey has revealed Kate Middleton and Prince William's children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis got involved in events at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at the "last minute".The British broadcaster explained how the children's involvement was only decided "last minute" with the Cambridges worried that one of their youngsters may have a "wobbly"– but they "loved every second". It was a similar last minute decision ahead of the family's visit to Cardiff Castle on Saturday 4 June.

Royal fans saw a sweet father-son moment between Princes George and William as the doting dad showed his eight year old son how to wear cufflinks. Prince William, Kate Middleton and their two eldest children George and Charlotte, six, promptly arrived at this evening’s Party at the Palace located outside Buckingham Palace. The Cambridge’s youngest Prince Louis, four, wasn’t with the family for the affair, and was likely being looked after by their “loyal nanny” Maria or Kate’s mother, Carole.

Prince William, Kate Middleton and other members of the royal family were all traveling on the day Lilibet was celebrating her first birthday at home, but it wasn't to avoid it.A source tells ET, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and other members of the royal family that included Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward all traveled to different parts of the UK to visit those who are celebrating Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. The source is adamant the events were not planned to avoid Lilibet's birthday at home.«It's simply a coincidence they fell on the same day,» the source said.

Prince Charles and his son Prince William will pay tribute to the Queen on Saturday night during special concert as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.The senior royals will enter the stage towards the end of the concert, which is being held outside Buckingham Palace. Members of the public will be able to attend if they were among the lucky few to grab a ticket but if you missed out then worry not as the BBC will be screening the whole event.

When Queen Elizabeth first appeared on the palace balcony during Thursday’s Trooping the Colour, she had one companion by her side. The 96-year-old, who is celebrating 70 years on the throne, was accompanied by her first cousin Edward, the Duke of Kent, who was dressed in his military uniform.The 86-year-old later joined the other senior members of the royal family as they watched the military flypast. This was the first time the queen appeared on the balcony without husband Prince Philip.The Duke of Edinburgh died in 2021 at age 99.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a playful moment during the Trooping the Colour ceremony.  The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen playfully shushing the younger royals while watching the parade during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Harry was seen holding his finger to his mouth as he bent down next to his cousin, Lena Tindall, 3.  His wife, Markle, echoed a similar gesture to the group of young girls, including Zara Tindall's children, Lena and Mia, 8, and Peter Phillips' daughter Savannah, 11.The girls playfully mimicked the Duchess’ motion back to her.  Prince Harry shushed some of his cousins during the Trooping the Colour ceremony. He did a similar gesture during the 1990 ceremony.

A historic occasion! Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne inspected the British troops on Queen Elizabeth II’s behalf, in which they received their first salute.

Queen Elizabeth will begin her Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Thursday morning with the Trooping the Colour parade to mark her 96th birthday, an annual event which has been postponed the last two years due to the coronavirus.  Elizabeth became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee earlier this year following 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, Realms and the Commonwealth.  After a grand military display including horses, carriages, a flypast from the Royal Air Force and hundreds of musicians parading down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Palace, the queen is expected to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony to greet the public.  Historically, the British monarch has taken the salute to her troops, known as the Household Division on Horse Guards Parade.  Queen Elizabeth II is photographed at Sandringham House to mark the start of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee Year, on February 2, 2022 in Sandringham, Norfolk. Kate Middleton has worn some iconic looks for the annual Trooping The Colour, a parade to mark the official birthday of the Sovereign. This year, the grand ceremony will take place as part of a long weekend of Platinum Jubilee celebrations as the nation, and Commonwealth, celebrates Queen Elizabeth's seventy years on the throne. The Duchess of Cambridge always draws the eye in her balcony appearances during the event, and with Trooping the Colour having been cancelled for the past two years, we're excited to see what she'll be wearing today.

A family affair. Prince William and Kate Middleton won’t be attending Prince Harry’s daughter’s Lilibet first birthday celebrations. Lilibet will be celebrating her first birthday away from her home state of California and in her dad’s home country of England.

So much for all that brotherly love. Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are reportedly planning to miss their niece’s big first birthday!

Prince William is set to appear on a limited edition £5 coin to celebrate his 40th birthday, which he'll celebrate on 21 June. The Royal Mint, the UK’s official coin producer, made the announcement on Monday (May 23). It will be the first time the Duke of Cambridge, 39, will appear alone on an official coin.

Prince William is a fellow aviator like Tom Cruise! The Top Gun: Maverick actor spoke about what he and the Duke of Cambridge have “in common” while at the UK premiere of his new film on Thursday.“We have a lot in common.
