Prince William has reportedly been left horrified by the news that Princess Diana's ghost will be portrayed in the final season of The Crown.
The Netflix drama, inspired by the Royal Family, has come under fire before for its storylines as the sixth and final season will depict the final weeks of Princess Diana's life, including the fatal car crash in Paris. Netflix describes the royal series as "fictional dramatisation, imagining what could have happened behind closed doors".
The Crown will showcase Diana's relationship with Dodi Fayed, as well as their fatal 1997 car crash, while Elizabeth Debicki will portray the late princess in several ghost scenes. The late Diana will appear in scenes with Prince Charles and the late Queen Elizabeth, who are played by Dominic West and Imelda Staunton.

In another scene, her ghost holds hands with the Queen, saying: “As long as anyone can remember, you’ve taught us what it means to be British. Maybe it’s time to show you’re ready to learn too.”

They told the Daily Beast that William would be “totally sickened” by the scenes while a friend of the late Queen's said: “Thank god she will never even hear about it.”
The friend of William’s said: “It’s incredibly hurtful to have his mother exploited over and over again in this tawdry fashion by Netflix. He won’t watch it, but he will be totally sickened by it.”
They added that Harry's decision to work with Netflix, who created The Crown, is a sore point for the
