Prince William has been praised many times for how well he has taken to his position as future King since he was a young child but there is one element of growing up as a royal that he particularly "loathed".
As young kids growing up in the spotlight, William and his younger brother Harry were regularly snapped by the paparazzi while out and about with their late mother Princess Diana.
The former Princess of Wales' renowned personal style was largely replicated in the young princes' outfits but according to Prince Harry, his older brother was not as keen on their matching attire as the public was.
Writing in his tell-all memoir Spare which was released at the beginning of last year, the Duke of Sussex claims that William suffered from a bad case of the embarrassed older brother syndrome when they were younger, the Mirror reports.
The royal siblings both attended the prestigious school of Eton College but during their time there, the Prince of Wales once instructed a young Harry to pretend they didn't know one another when his time came to start at the same school.
