Prince Louis' pressing question to the Queen has been revealed by a lip reader. The four year old adorably stole the show on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on Thursday afternoon as he joined working members of the royal family to take in the Jubilee flypast as planes, helicopters, and the Red Arrows soared overhead. On one occasion, while waiting for the planes and helicopters, little Louis, who was dressed in a sailor suit, could be seen turning to the side for a brief conversation with his great-grandmother.
And according to Jeremy Freeman, an expert in lipreading, Louis asked the Queen: "Are the Red Arrows coming?" to which she replied: "I hope so." Jeremy added to The Mirror that when the Red Arrows finally turned up, excited Louis exclaimed: "Yes, yes, yes." The Queen then said to Louis: "There it is", before Louis gushed: "Oh Red Arrows - Woah," the lipreader added. He also noted that a proud Kate turned to Prince William to say, "look at him", as Louis covered his ears.
Meanwhile, on another occasion, Prince Louis was quietly told to stop sucking his thumb by Kate, and he slowly lowered his hand from his mouth. The Trooping of the Colour kicked off the Platinum Jubilee, which is being marked by a four-day bank holiday weekend. Prince Charles rode on horseback along with Prince William and Princess Anne, in the procession, before the Duke of Wales received the royal salute on behalf of the Queen - the first time this has happened since Elizabeth II herself received the royal salute on behalf of her father, George VI, back in 1951.
