Prince Harry has seemingly hinted at a potential reconciliation with King Charles in the future, despite confirming that there will be no meeting between them during his current visit to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex touched down on British soil on Tuesday before a service at St Paul's Cathedral tomorrow to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
On Tuesday afternoon, he was at Armoury House in East London, engaging in a panel discussion led by ex-BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin, as part of the one-day Invictus Games Foundation Conversation summit.
Speculation had been rife about a possible heart-to-heart with his father, King Charles, given that both royals are in the capital today and tomorrow reports the Mirror.
The relationship between Harry and his father has been strained, and they have only met once since the King's cancer diagnosis.
However, any anticipation for a family reunion was quashed today when a representative for Prince Harry announced: "It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme."
Yet, the statement intriguingly left the door open for a future get-together, noting: "The Duke of course is understanding of his father's diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon."
Harry's East London visit included participating in a panel discussion at the Invictus Games Foundation Conversation, moderated by ex-BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin.
In a striking coincidence, Queen Camilla is also nearby, engaging with youngsters at a local primary school to reveal a new Coronation Library. Meanwhile, King Charles was spotted departing Windsor Castle for London, where he's been conducting audiences at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
