Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding day was a lavish star studded affair with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, the Beckhams and George and Amal Clooney all in attendance at their big day.
They were among the 600 guests present in St George's Chapel back in May 2019 to witness the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes' vows.
For some, the church service was the end of the celebrations but others were invited back to St George's Hall for a luncheon reception hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth.
This was then followed by a lavish evening reception which was hosted by the then Prince Charles and the guestlist was cut once again, leaving just 200 of Meghan and Harry's closest friends to dance the night away.
However, there was one person notably absent from the party which many were surprised by as he was one of Harry's oldest school friends, the Mirror reports.
Tom Inskip, known as Skippy, has known the duke for many years before he met Meghan, having first met at Eton College, but his old school chum appeared to not make the list for their personal night time guests and made a cutting comment about it at brunch the following day.
According to the book Finding Freedom by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, Skippy was not pleased about his snub.
They wrote: "Notably absent were Skippy, Harry's old friend, who had questioned the prince's relationship with Meghan, and his wife, Lara.
"They were invited to the wedding ceremony and lunchtime reception but didn't make the cut for the evening bash.
"At brunch the day after the wedding, Skippy told friends 'Meghan has changed Harry too much'. His Eton friend said the prince was awed by the likes of the Clooneys and Oprah. 'We've lost him', Skippy concluded."
