Prince Harry has ruled out returning to the UK for Prince Philip's memorial but 'hopes to visit the Queen as soon as possible'. The Duke of Sussex, 37, who recently attended a rodeo in Texas despite his wife Meghan Markle's animal rights activism, will not be jetting back to the UK for the Service of Thanksgiving on March 29 at Westminster Abbey, a spokesman confirmed on Friday 11 March.

A court heard in February that Harry does not 'feel safe' in the UK if he doesn’t have protection from Scotland Yard officers. However Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and their two young children, Archie and Lilibet, were not expected to attend the memorial service.
Royal Commentator Neil Sean previously revealed he thinks that it may be best for them to stay away from the event but for another reason. Speaking on his popular YouTube channel he said: "It's very difficult for Harry and Meghan because if they do come back over here whichever way they turn all eyes will be on them.
