A body language expert has said that Prince Harry had “nothing to hide his emotions behind” at the Queen’s emotional procession earlier today, Wednesday 14 September, as he wasn’t wearing military uniform. The Duke of Sussex looked sombre as he wore a morning suit, while other members of the Royal Family – apart from Prince Andrew – donned military uniforms. In light of Prince Harry, 37, not wearing the uniform, which includes a peak cap, body language expert Judi James compared Harry’s behaviour to the way he was at his mother Princess Diana’s funeral 25 years ago after she was killed in a car crash.
Noting how the two brothers walked side-by-side behind the Queen’s coffin, Judi told The Sun: “As a result, we saw body language that was so reminiscent of the time when, as young boys, they walked ashen-faced behind their mother’s coffin. "William, in uniform, had the emotional advantage of walking in a more military way while Harry’s walk was a little more relaxed beside him." Further discussing Harry’s lack of military uniform, she went on: “Harry’s fingers seemed to clench and unclench a couple of times, as though steeling himself for the sight of the coffin.
“His eyes took on a rather haunted expression, with steepled brows illustrating his sadness."
