King Charles’ Coronation has been marked by the release of two more official portraits. The first image shows the King with the two next in line to the throne – son Prince William and grandson Prince George. The second is of King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla with their Pages of Honour and Ladies in Attendance on the historic Coronation day.

Just one week on since the formal Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, Buckingham Palace has officially released two new photos to commemorate the historic occasion.The images, which were perfectly captured by photographer Hugo Burnand featured both the monarch and his wife as they posed for photographs in the Throne Room at Buckingham Palace. In the first image shared by the palace, the King could be seen seated alongside the two future Kings of the UK, Prince William and his son Prince George.

A friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has shared an adorable snap of the couple’s oldest son, Archie, in celebration of the youngster’s fourth birthday. Archie, who lives in California with his parents and younger sister Lilibet, celebrated his birthday on 6 May, which also happened to be the date of his grandfather, King Charles III’s, Coronation at Westminster Abbey. In a sweet tribute to the youngster, photographer Misan Harriman, who is a close friend of Harry and Meghan’s, took to Instagram to send Archie a sweet birthday message.

King Charles is said to have acknowledged his stateside grandchildren during a speech at his post-Coronation family lunch, wishing grandson Archie a happy birthday. The new monarch's London Coronation fell on the same day as the little one's fourth birthday, with Harry rushing back to the US straight after the ceremony to celebrate his eldest's milestone.

Prince Harry and and Prince Andrew will not have formal roles at the Coronation, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.The Duke of Sussex and the Duke of York, who are no longer working royals, will attend the service on Saturday, but will not perform any duties.The two men will also be absent from the procession behind the Gold State Coach carrying the newly crowned King and Queen from Westminster Abbey back to Buckingham Palace after the ceremony. All eyes will be on Harry as he faces his relatives in public for the first time since he criticised King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales in his tell-all memoir Spare.

As Prince Harry prepares to jet back to the UK solo ahead of his father, King Charles’ Coronation tomorrow, Saturday 6 May, it’s unlikely he’ll get a warm welcome from his older brother, Prince William.The two brothers have had a difficult relationship in recent years, but saved face back in September at the time of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral as they engaged in several public engagements together. But, away from the public eye, Harry, 38, and William, 40, are far from friendly, with their last exchange being quite icy.The pair had a rather cordial conversation at the time as Harry and William made their way to their seats at the grandmother’s funeral alongside the respective wives Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.

King Charles will undoubtedly be the star of the show during the up-coming Coronation - though other senior royals are expected to stand out too. Queen Consort Camilla will also be officially crowned at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May - though Buckingham Palace has said that part of the ceremony will be relatively simple compared to that of her husband.
