Prince Charles and Camilla land in Canada as they begin three day tour for Queen's Jubilee

Prince Charles and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, toasted to Queen Elizabeth II during a Big Jubilee Lunch celebration on Sunday afternoon before joining the queen on the final day of Platinum Jubilee events. The Prince of Wales and his wife were on hand at South London's Oval Cricket Ground where they reveled in delicious desserts and cakes dedicated to Elizabeth's remarkable milestone as she marks 70 years on the throne.

Prince Charles has said he hopes that “bickering” does not return after a feeling of “togetherness” across the nation over the Platinum Jubilee weekend. The Prince of Wales made the comments while he and wife Camilla mingled with guests at the Big Jubilee Lunch in The Oval cricket grounds, which was just one of several celebrations taking place across the country to mark The Queen’s 70 year reign.

A historic occasion! Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne inspected the British troops on Queen Elizabeth II’s behalf, in which they received their first salute.
