Kate Garraway had quite the confession to make when she returned to Good Morning Britain today. The presenter was back at the helm of the ITV news programme on Thursday (May 26) alongside Ben Shephard.
As they discussed the latest news headlines and slammed a Tory MP for their no-show on the programme the days after Sue Grey's Partygate report, the conversation soon turned to Kate's recent outing alongside the Prince of Wales.
The 55-year-old was among the star-studded guests joining Prince Charles at the Prince's Trust Awards which took place he Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West End on Tuesday (May 24). Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly hosted the annual awards for a 10th year which will air on Thursday (May 26) on ITV for the first time.

But Kate revealed that during her latest meeting with a member of the royal family she smelled ‘like a wet dog’ and had hair resembling Monica Gellar from Friends - if you know, you know. As a picture of her at the event came up on screen, she told Ben: "Do you know what? Well, first of all I smelled really bad!
"Because I’d run to the event, and it was on Tuesday with those crazy downpours, so I got absolutely soaked and as I went into the warm room, I started to smell a bit like a wet dog! You know that thing where it just starts to steam off you? By the time you see it go out on air tonight, my hair is like that scene with Monica in Friends."

Prince Charles has marked 70 years of holding the title Duke of Cornwall by visiting the county’s annual agricultural show.The prince, accompanied by his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, toured the Royal Cornwall Show on Friday, talking to dozens of local businesses exhibiting their wares, from sparkling cider, to biltong, to hot sauce.
