Post Malone didn’t need to hit the bar when he arrived at the 2023 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala at the New York Marriott Marquis on Thursday night (June 15) in New York City. He brought his own drink!
The 27-year-old “Sunflower” hitmaker was honored at the ceremony and walked the red carpet wearing a formal black suit complete with a matching tie. He finished off the look with a hat and a red Solo Cup, which he held in one hand while flashing a peace sign to photographers with the other.
If you were unaware, Post received an award that was given to a fellow rapper last year.

At the ceremony, he was honored with the Hal David Starlight Award, which pays tribute to “gifted young songwriters who are making a significant impact in the music industry.” In 2022, the honoree was none other than Lil Nas X!
Post hopped onstage to deliver a performance during the ceremony.
