Having first appeared on Channel 4’s First Dates as a maître d'hôtel back in 2013, Fred has become a familiar face on the show and has subsequently starred in shows including Celebrity Gogglebox, the Ultimate Wedding Planner and Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip. “You could be online and talking to 10 different people at the same time. In the old days you would be in a bar and you’d be talking to one person at a time. It makes people want to swipe in their head.” He added: “But in terms of what they’re looking for, they are looking for love and they want to make a connection.” In fact, with a decade on our screens, Fred revealed that he’d even put a few of his friends forward for the show for the latest series, though it sadly wasn’t meant to be.
