Police have closed a road in Rochdale amid reports a car has crashed into a canal.
Canal Street in Littleborough was blocked off close to the Waterside pub at about 9.30pm on Thursday.
A number of witnesses report seeing a car in water in the Rochdale Canal near Littleborough railway station.
