Phillip Schofield has admitted it's "weird" not filming Dancing On Ice on Sunday after the final was postponed for one week due to a schedule shakeup by ITV. The ITV skating show's live final was due to air on Sunday 20 March, but it was pushed back by a week to make way for the FA Cup Quarter Final. This now means that the final instalment of Dancing On Ice 2022 will air on Sunday 27 March and will see finalists Brendan Cole, Regan Gascoigne and Kimberly Wyatt battle it out.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Phillip posted a radiant selfie of himself enjoying the sunshine as he penned: "Weird without @dancingonice but a lovely sunny Sunday and @f1 next" followed with a smiling emoji. It comes after the This Morning star wished his co-host Holly Willoughby well on last Sunday's Dancing On Ice after she was forced to pull out due to testing positive for Covid-19.The presenter, 59, was forced to present the hit ITV skating show alone as his co-host, 41, isolated at home.
Addressing Holly's absence, Phillip said: "As you can see, Holly isn't here tonight. We found out just a few hours ago [she tested positive for Covid]. "I know what it's like to watch this show from home, really weird, Holly get well soon, lots of love!" It comes after a spokesperson for Dancing On Ice announced the news last week, they said: "Unfortunately, Holly Willoughby is unable to host tonight's show after testing positive for Covid-19.
