All eyes were on Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy last week as their highly-anticipated Wagatha Christie trial kicked off. But things soon took a very unexpected turn when Peter Andre – and his manhood – was dragged into the court case. Pete’s name took centre stage in the trial after Rebekah’s historic interview about their alleged night together was brought up in the courtroom, in which she talked about “having had sex” with the star and that he was “hung like a miniature chipolata”.
A source close to Pete, 49, has told OK! he’s been left furious – and that it’s taken a huge toll on his personal life. Get exclusive celebrity stories and fabulous photoshoots straight to your inbox with OK!'s daily newsletter. You can sign up at the top of the page.
“Pete is livid,” our source said. “This whole thing has been really hard on him and the family, but it’s made him think about the wider story and that is that other people shouldn’t be allowed to talk about others in this way. “It’s so discriminating to say this about a man, this would not be said about a woman.
His children have been asking what the story is about, which is really difficult. He has no recollection of meeting this person, never mind anything else.” The source adds that Pete – who is dad to children Amelia, eight, and Theo, five, with wife Emily, 32, as well as his teenage kids Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price – was blindsided about what has happened. “Pete wasn’t told his name would be mentioned in a major court case and he feels it’s totally wrong. This story has been regurgitated for 15 years and he’s been biting his lip for 15 years,” they continued.
