Dancing on Ice fans excited as they spot iconic Corrie couple in studio audience
Dancing on Ice fans have spotted an epic reunion of former Coronation Street lovebirds.Sunday night's episode saw Weatherfield legend Sally Dynevor take to the ice alongside Matt Evers and perform a routine skate to the Trolley Song from Meet Me In St Louis as part of the show's movie week programme.Sally, 58, was supported by two of her real-life children who were sat in the live studio audience. She was supported by her soap kids as well. The actress was cheered on by Brooke Vincent, who played her onscreen daughter Sophie Webster in Coronation Street before confirming her extended break from the soap last month.Brooke was joined in the audience by her former onscreen love interest Sacha Parkinson, who portrayed Sophie's first girlfriend Sian Powers.Posting to Twitter in response, Dancing on Ice viewers could hardly contain their excitement. One fan wrote: "Is that Sian next to Sophie from Corrie?!"Another commented: "Sally looks absolutely beautiful and aww Brooke and Sacha are there for support."Brooke and Sacha memorably portrayed Coronation Street's first lesbian couple, Sophie and Sian.Their characters caused quite the stir when they progressed from friends to lovers in 2009 though their romance was ultimately short-lived.Sacha Parkinson quit the soap in 2011, leading to the breakdown of Sophie and Sian's relationship. The pair were engaged and set to wed but Sophie struggled with her vows at the alter, leaving a devastated Sian to flee Weatherfield. Also in attendance to support Sally at Dancing on Ice were Corrie actresses Samia Longchambon and Jane Danson.Sally scored 26 out of 40 from the judges and skated through to this weekend's upcoming show.Ria Hebden became the second star eliminated from the series after
