Sam Fender has announced the set times for his Finsbury Park show tomorrow (July 15).The singer-songwriter has nine acts supporting his biggest headline event to date at the London park. Fontaines D.C., Declan McKenna, Beabadoobee, Goat Girl, Nilüfer Yanya, Rachel Chinouriri, Stone, Heidi Curtis and Kay Greyson are all scheduled to perform.In addition to sharing the stage times, Fender also posted an update to fans advising them on rule changes in light of the current heatwave.Suncream bottles of any size will now be permitted and fans can also bring in sealed plastic water bottles of up to 750ml.

Courtney Barnett has shared details of a new UK and Europe tour later this year.The Australian singer-songwriter will play 14 shows in support of her latest album, ‘Things Take Time, Take Time’, kicking things off at Munich’s Neue Theaterfabrik on October 28 before wrapping at London’s Roundhouse on November 13 for Pitchfork Music Festival.Earlier this month Barnett supported The Rolling Stones for their 60th anniversary show at BST in Hyde Park, London. The Featured Artists Coalition’s petition calling on UK collecting society PRS to reconsider its decision to cut the funding it provides the PRS Foundation has now past a 1000 signatures, with artists like Sam Fender, Anna Calvi and Wolf Alice’s Joff Oddie backing the FAC’s campaign.PRS confirmed at its AGM in May that the funding it provides to the talent development charity it set up in 2000 will be cut from the current £2.5 million a year to £1 million a year from 2024. That’s because the specific income stream the funding comes from – basically interest earned on investments and royalties awaiting distribution – has been in decline in recent years.However, many artist and songwriter groups have called on the society to top up its annual donation to the Foundation from other funds.

Mad Cool festival have revealed the full slate of stage times for this year’s edition.Seasick Steve and Alec Benjamin will go head-to-head as the first acts to perform, both taking to their stages – the titular Mad Cool mainstage and Vibra Mahou stage, respectively – at 5:50pm on Wednesday. Metallica have the longest set of the night – and evidently, the entire festival – with a two-hour set running from 9:30pm to 11:30pm on the Mad Cool stage.Closing out the night will be Twenty One Pilots and Chvrches, however the latter will perform a slightly shorter set: Twenty One Pilots are set to go out at 11:35pm on the Madrid Is Life mainstage, while Chvrches’ set starts at midnight on the Region Of Madrid stage.

Glastonbury Festival, a number of artists have seen an uplift on the UK’s Official Albums Chart this week.According to new Official Charts Company data, artists including Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, Diana Ross and Wet Leg have seen a boost in their sales and streams after their Glastonbury sets.Billie Eilish, who became the festival’s youngest-ever headliner on Friday (June 24), has enjoyed a jump in this week’s Official Albums Chart Top 40. Her last album ‘Happier Than Ever’ had an 84 per cent week-on-week boost to its combined weekly sales and streams in total, placing it on Number 10.Previous album, 2019’s ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’, is also up by 36 spots to Number 25, while Eilish’s debut ‘Don’t Smile At Me’ makes it to Number 39.Elsewhere, Sam Fender’s ‘Seventeen Going Under’ doubles its weekly sales and streams tally, surging 110 per cent week on week while enjoying a jump of 44 chart places back into the Official Albums Chart Top 20 (19). The album’s title tack has also risen 40 places to Number 20.Wet Leg’s sales and streams of their eponymous debut album are up 71 per cent over the past seven days, while Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘SOUR’ enjoys a 30 per cent weekly boost and Kendrick Lamar‘s ‘Mr.

The Rolling Stones have finally delivered a live performance of their 1966 single ‘Out Of Time’.The legendary rockers played in Madrid last night (June 1), kicking off their ‘SIXTY’ tour of Europe and the UK. As its name suggests, the run comes in celebration of the Stones’ six-decade tenure, having officially formed in June of 1962 (they’d perform their first show as The Rolling Stones a month later).

The Rolling Stones have confirmed that Sam Fender, Phoebe Bridgers, The War On Drugs and Courtney Barnett will support the band at their BST Hyde Park shows.The band will be performing two concerts in London in the summer as part of their 60th anniversary tour.The Stones have announced The War On Drugs and Bridgers will support them on June 25, while Fender and Barnett will appear on July 3.Following on from their acclaimed USA ‘No Filter’ tour, their latest jaunt will see Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood make their long-awaited return to the UK, also performing at the home of Liverpool FC – Anfield, for the Stones’ first in Liverpool show for over 50 years.Echo And The Bunnymen will provide support for that concert.
