The Streets and Arlo Parks have been announced for this year’s Glastonbury Pilton Party.Both acts will perform at the Worthy Farm bash on September 1. Tickets can be purchased from the old Festival Office in Northload Street, Glastonbury from today (August 5) until 4pm BST.The cost for adults will be £40 and £15 for children.On the day, the gates will open at 5pm BST, with the live music set to finish around 11pm.

Sam Fender covered Frightened Rabbit‘s ‘The Modern Leper’ during his headline performance at TRNSMT Festival over the weekend – watch the fan-shot footage below.The North Shields singer-songwriter delivered a 17-song set on the main stage at the Glasgow event last Saturday (July 8) following appearances from the likes of Kasabian, Aitch and Inhaler.Towards the end of the show, Fender treated fans to a stripped-back rendition of ‘The Modern Leper’, the opening track of Frightened Rabbit’s second album ‘The Midnight Organ Fight’ (2008).That studio record was reimagined by various artists in 2019 in memory of the Scottish band’s founding member and primary songwriter, Scott Hutchison, who died by suicide the previous year.Fender’s version of ‘The Modern Leper’ featured the musician’s guitar technician Fraser Fulton, also of the Scottish band Midnight Ambulance.Sharing a clip of the performance on their Twitter profile, the duo wrote: “Well that was cool. The 1975 will be replacing Lewis Capaldi at Reading & Leeds (August 26-27) this year, according to the band.While performing at TRNSMT festival on Sunday (July 9), frontman Matty Healy revealed mid-performance that not only will the band be taking over Lewis Capaldi’s slot at the festivals, but they will also be performing their 2013 self-titled debut album in its entirety to mark its 10th anniversary.Healy said onstage: “So, on Saturday at Reading and Sunday at Leeds in celebration of 10 years of our debut album, The 1975 will be playing that album in full in support of our good friend Lewis Capaldi.
