Vary Senior Entertainment WriterThe Kang Dynasty has its leader.“Shang-Chi: The Legend of the Ten Rings” director Destin Daniel Cretton will continue his tenure within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the director of “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,” a rep for Marvel Studios confirmed.Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige announced “The Kang Dynasty” during the company’s wide-ranging presentation at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, as part one of the two-part conclusion to the Multiverse Saga — similar to how 2018’s “Avengers: Infinity War” and 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame” concluded the Infinity Saga.Unlike those films — which were filmed and directed back-to-back by MCU veterans Anthony and Joe Russo — Cretton will only be directing “The Kang Dynasty,” which is set to debut on May 2, 2025.

Mercury Prize shortlist for 2022 Album Of The Year has been revealed.At 11am today (July 26), the Mercury Prize – in partnership with mobility app FREE NOW – confirmed that the 12 albums that have been shortlisted for the Album Of The Year award include Harry Styles’ ‘Harry’s House’, Little Simz’s ‘Sometimes I Might be Introvert’, Sam Fender’s ‘Seventeen Going Under’, Wet Leg’s self-titled album and Yard Act’s ‘The Overload’.You can find the entire list of albums shortlisted for the coveted award below.The awards show for the event will take place on September 8 at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. Former TOWIE star Myles Barnett hasn’t had the best start to the week, after his £100,000 Range Rover was stolen.The 28 year old updated fans on the robbery as he asked for their help on social media, posting a reward for anyone able to find information that could lead to the motor being recovered. Myles, who appeared on TOWIE in 2017 up until 2019, uploaded photos of his expensive stolen vehicle as he arrived in Toulon, France, on his Virgin Cruise holiday with his girlfriend Isobel Scarlet Emery.

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis have shared their full list of dates for a tour of their native Australia, in support of their collaborative 2021 album ‘Carnage’.News of the tour first arrived back in February, when Cave wrote about returning to Australia at the end of 2022 in a Red Hand Files letter. The following month the duo announced two dates at the remote Victorian location of Hanging Rock with Courtney Barnett.A full list of ‘Carnage’ tour dates were to follow, but the announcement was postponed following the tragic death of Cave’s son, Jethro.

Sam Fender has announced a headline Australian tour for November 2022, in support of his second studio album ‘Seventeen Going Under’.The tour, announced today (July 26), is Fender’s first to the continent in over three years. He was last in Australia as part of the Splendour In The Grass festival, performing there as well as at select headlining dates.

The new dates — including one on Christmas Eve — will take place at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and begin November 18; they are listed below.  In addition to the 24 rescheduled shows, 8 new shows have also been announced. The residency will now run through March 25, 2023.A select number of tickets will be available across all 32 performances.

Marcus Mumford has announced a North American headline tour for 2022 – tickets will be available from here.The Mumford & Sons frontman will hit the road stateside this autumn in support of his debut solo album ‘(Self-Titled)’, which is due to arrive on September 16 via Island (pre-order here).The tour is set to kick off in Boulder, Colorado on September 19 ahead of further shows in Denver, Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles throughout the rest of that month. In early October, Mumford will resume the stint in Ventura, California.He’ll then make stop-offs in cities such as Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Portland, New York and Boston.

Mark Tuan has announced an upcoming North American tour for 2022, with 16 dates currently scheduled.The Taiwanese-American musician took to Twitter earlier today (July 7) to announce that he is set to embark on a tour of 15 North American cities this year. Tuan is set to visit major cities such as San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco and more, as well as two shows in his home city of Los Angeles.In addition to the US, the K-pop idol will also perform in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver.
